Camarato 1999

Well-knit and very well-made from a technical point of view, but less exciting than in other vintages. It has an intense garnet colour, with good concentration. Its bouquet is appealing, with a very evident and rather ripe fruity note; it is clean, but perhaps not very complex. The fruit on the palate is full but also supple and, all in all, it makes for pleasant drinking. The tannins are well balanced by the fruit and the finish is long and convincing. Serve it at 18°C, accompanying it with grilled rib of beef, rice sartù or roast duck.
