Camarato 1998

The best in terms of complexity and keeping potential. It has a fairly deep garnet colour with reasonable concentration and a quite complex bouquet, with fruity notes alongside more mineral hints, including tar-like nuances. Its flavour is well-balanced and the tannins are perfectly counterpointed by the softness of the fruit and glycerine. The finish is long, supple and elegant. Serve it at 18°C, matching it with a beef and porcini mushroom stew, Ischia-style rabbit or lasagne with Bolognaise sauce.
