This is a pure Sangiovese that has been aged for two years in medium-sized and large barrels of French oak. The bouquet is clear with medicinal herbs and a tad of rhubarb, then bramble berries, cherry and a touch of caramel. The taste is savory, nicely fresh with an excellent balance between the tannins and acidity. A good persistence in the finish.
