Cabernet Sauvignon 2005

The harvest was very late due to a short and dry summer that was not particularly hot, which meant that the grapes ripened slowly and were picked in mid-October. The wine has a dark and compact ruby color that leans towards a very lively garnet. The nose is intense and typical of the grape: balsamic with cassis, well-integrated spices and a floral hint. The mouthfeel is linear and in keeping, full-bodied, broad with compact texture. Because of its youth the wood is still noticeable but the mouthfeel is so rich that it is perfectly encompassed.
