Valgella is the largest of the four sub-zones and its grapes are used to make La Fracia, a very particular Valtellina Superiore.
The aroma has scents of fruit jam, strawberry and balsamic notes while spicy sensations emerge with breathing, cumin and cardamom, along with an unusual note of peat. The mouthfeel is sanguine and smoked with a finish of ripe fruit and spice.
