A blend of 90% Negroamaro from Salento and 10% Chardonnay. The grapes were harvested a little ahead of time and the wine underwent 30 months of secondary fermentation in the bottle after which it received a dosage of liqueur d’expedition made from Rosato Vigna Mazzi. In the glass the wine has a coppery pink color with lucent reflections and an effervescence that unleashes delicate floral notes and fresh ones of tangerines, currant and pomegranate with a light nuance of comfit in the finish. The pleasing mouthfeel is relaxed and dynamic with a spontaneity from the fruit that comes back with notes of white mulberry and salt flakes and clean nuances of blood orange in the finish. An enticing and graceful drop, a caress of pink that is not imposing and is thus impressive.
