The product of a cool year and high acidity, above all malic, it holds up well. The color is a nice, intense garnet, dark and whole at the edge. The nose is still fruity with white cherry, yellow peach, some very lovely ethereal notes and a very original and elegant smokiness. The vintage reveals itself in its full and quite rigid flavor, due to the acidity, while the tannins are still chewy and free from any negative bitterness. The finish has a nice and intense persistence, centered on the white fruit. This is not the tops due to the verticality of its taste, but it certainly is a very intriguing table wine.
