A slightly garnet, ruby color and a promising young bouquet that is a bit closed with its scents of underbrush and light spice, while the fruit component still needs to evolve although this is just a matter of time. The mouthfeel is austere, the tannins almost severe, yet the texture is thick and tasty and the finish is a glimpse into this wine’s future, one in which the balsamic notes and fruit will make it broad, intense and flavorful.
