It has a superb light red but extremely vivid colour that is intact and inviting. As always, the nose is textbook Sangiovese, with pansies and earthy undergrowth to the fore. The palate is sharp with very lively acidity, not showing any signs of age: it has great potential but is already delicious. I shall never stop loving the very old-fashioned and fascinating notes of this real masterpiece of human genius.
