A deep, garnet color with ruby reflections and a wonderful, incredible bouquet with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon and pink peppercorn on a Piedmont bed of rhubarb and dried flowers. The mouthfeel is flavorful and consistent with the aroma and the tannins are composed, while the finish is almost tannic but not drying. Sends shivers down your spine.
