Bonnes Mares Grand Cru 2007

While the color is intense with its bright tones, the aroma is a bit dark and the wine needs to breathe a lot in the glass. Once this has occurred the bouquet opens with an assortment of elegant notes, a nice spicy verve and a diffused balsamic sensation with just a hint of the classic scent of wild strawberry. The mouthfeel is severe with pronounced tannins and a lovely fullness.
