Writing about wines of this level from Madame one runs a real risk of going overboard with exaggeration. Already in the glass it is shouting ‘Madame’ with its unique translucent garnet nuances. The terrorist bouquet knocks you out because it unites intensity with absolute perfection and a pervading sensation of incense. It is hard to resist drinking the whole glass at once because the aromas coming out of the glass are as enchanting as the song of the sirens with notes of cinnamon, fruit gelatin and pink pepper together with a balsamic boldness. The mouthfeel is truly unique, very fresh, impalpable and almost esoteric. Chapeau.
