With this wine the evolution is complete. The color is very dark but the mouthfeel is totally different: it is ready, rotund, with soft tannins making it easy to drink with tones of cherry and very ripe cherry. The mouthfeel remains overall nice and dynamic but the austerity that was a constant in the previous vintages has been lost. And even the nose is fresher and more floral. In order to appease the more traditional wine drinker, they should perhaps think of creating a Riserva, one closer to the way the wine used to be.
