100% Gaglioppo, temperature-controlled fermentation with maceration on the lees. This ages in steel vats, French oak barriques and in the bottle. The wine has a compact, garnet-ruby color and the aroma is a refined and generous assortment of black cherry and ripe prunes, also in jam form, raspberry caramel, violet and red rose, black pepper and tobacco. The taste is balanced with a nice structure, the tannins are subtle but a tad drying and an acidic freshness stays in the mouth through the finish.
