Made from Primitivo grapes grown in the historic vineyard with its centuries old rootstocks. The wine matures for 14 months in tonneau barrels and barriques and then ages for 12 months in stainless steel vats. It has a dark, ruby color and aromas of black cherry, eucalyptus, black pepper and tobacco, while the mouthfeel is full-bodied and wrapping with young yet composed and well-integrated tannins. It has a nice salinity and acidic tension and a juicy, long and intense finish.
