The vineyard soil is loose and rich in sand and white marl. The wine has an almost orange-like color in the glass and is still luminous at the center. All the scents mingle together in the aroma, notes of fruit and spice. There is prune, cherry and raspberry, initially in jam form and then under spirits, as well as cigar box, toasted barley and dried leaves, nutmeg and cinnamon. The scents are very complex and have evolved in the bottle. The tannins in the mouthfeel are velvety and augur great surprises. The dense and complex structure is totally unexpected and the persistence is infinite. A noble wine with a touch of antiquity and yet elegant and truly fine.
