Barolo Prapò 1978

The colour is intact in terms of intensity but has now veered towards a garnet shade, with some orange nuances. The nose expresses nobility, rigour and stage presence. The palate is velvety, with tannins that are stupendously integrated with the other smooth sensations (allowing us to enjoy it with all the food there was on the table). Never banal, it continues - in a meandering way - to create new taste profiles for itself. This wine from Ceretto is a sure-fire thing in this vintage.
