Barolo Percristina 1998

Made by a modern producer but one who has 'wisdom', a true master if this wine. The color is a bit dark, full and yet veiled, giving the sensation of an important 'critical mass'. The aroma seems immediately domesticated by notes of prune jam, but then it developes nicely with a captivating balsamic aspect and rich spiciness. The taste is truly rich with rotund but evident tannins, a DR0P that is anything but common place.
