Veronelli would have said this has ''Barolo breath'', that olfactory stage that is a bit rustic (he would have used his invented word 'zerga'), initially reduced but then it unfolds with scents of licorice, tar and dried flowers. The color is incredibly youthful (there was a lot of Michet Nebbiolo used in making it, according to Mauro Mascarello who was also there). The flavor literally exploded, with tannins that were even youthful and a structure from another world. Unforgettable.
