This is almost a different wine, one that borders on emotion, one of the best Grand Bussia of the last 20 years. The color is brighter than the 1997 and its strong points are its austerity and elegance. Initially the aroma is of medicinal herbs and crushed rose, together with wonderful scents of camomile and thyme. It become sumptuous with breathing as traces of medlar and ginger emerge in a balsamic framework. The taste is quite severe, stiff, a true country gentleman in a double-breasted suit. Its drinkability makes it irresistible and my suggestion is to drink it alone in order to experience it in full. Magnificent.
