Barolo Cannubi 2010

The Nebbiolo grapes for this wine come from vines that are between 30 and 50 years old in the cru of Cannubi where the Damilano family owns two hectares of vineyards and leases another eight. The wine ages for two years in large wood barrels and at least another year in the bottle. It has an intense ruby-garnet color and a traditional bouquet of dried flowers, licorice and balsamic notes. The mouthfeel is taut, tannic, saline, warm, elegant and long.
