Its colour is old and transparent, almost diaphanous, when poured the wine already looks proud and at attention. Tar and liquorice immediately take possession on the nose, which varies considerably with oxygenation, from dried or macerated flowers to even a hint of incense. The fruit on the palate is now rather linear, but still lively thanks to its residual acidity. The tannins are now rounded, producing a caress without any harshness at all. The finish is reasonably long, even if its evolution leaves one with nostalgia rather than enthusiasm.
