The two wines this producer makes totally convinced us as does his modesty. He is a person with whom you can talk about wine the old way, starting with the vineyards and the soil, with the joy and sobriety of someone who truly loves his work. The color of this wine is a classic yet not intense ruby, while its captivating aroma is quite distinct with cherry, spice and black pepper. The flavor is slightly rustic which makes everything more complex. The tannins are docile and sufficiently settled, the creaminess is nice, the texture thick and the finish lovely.
