Bardolino Chiaretto 2011

The color is that of a Tropea onion. The bouquet is clean and intense with scents of red fruit and cherry, there is also a nice balsamic streak of officinal herbs. The taste is softly enveloping, typical of its terror. Due to the hot year the acidity has a little trouble upholding the taste progression but the taste is there and the finish has an interesting scent of saffron.
