This vineyard is in the area of Treiso. A refined and sensual wine. Although he will never admit it, I know this is Andrea's favorite cru, the one that comes closest to what he has been working so hard to achieve. This is probably because its is the closest to Burgundy, the one that incarnates his philosophic ideal. Its color is the clearest of the group, a very luminous red yet less intense than the other wines. The aroma has an unusual intensity, with scents of menthol and berries standing out, a hint of wild strawberry and raspberry that recall the Cote de Nuit. The way this wine expresses the land is not just surprising but incredibly original. The flavor is silky, captivating and with an exemplary freshness. This is example of a style that is anything but loud, perfect for those who love elegance.
