Together with Monfortino, I consider this to be the greatest vintage Nebbiolo. This was a strange vintage, even if many considered it to be 'classic'. Here, however, the incredibly skilled hand of its producer created a jewel. Its complexity is outstanding, the aroma the summation of all the botanical vocabulary available to describe Nebbiolo. The flavor is sensual, vibrating and intact, the finish very long and incredibly effective. A small masterpiece.
