One of the best Gaja Barbaresco I have tasted in years. Even though it had not breathed it was solemnly expressive. Its red color was still intact and the intense bouquet has scents of incense and blueberry jam, chocolate and a hint of sweet tobacco. The mouthfeel was lively, pulsating and broad.
