Banditella 2010

After ten years of research Banditella has finally got it right. The intense ruby color is neither excessive nor lacking in any way, while the aroma is very full, ample and persistent. The characteristics of the territory are evident with scents of Ravenna cherry and sour cherry that blend in with blackberry and black mulberry. The spice component from the wood is present but never invasive with sweet notes of vanilla and a light smokiness. The mouthfeel is truly fascinating with its persistence and wonderful tannins. This is a wine that brings together, in a beautiful balance ,boldness and elegance, tradition and innovation. The finish is persistent and broad with a return of warm notes from the aroma in the aftertaste.
