A dark and unyielding color with a different tonality from the previous wines, perhaps due to a greater percentage of Cabernet. The aroma is warm but not sticky with clear jammy scents of blackberry and cherry, blackcurrant and mulberry. There is also a certain woodiness. The taste is intense, soft with an amazing acidic streak for that year. Soft and captivating tannins hold the drop together for a composed finish with few concessions.
