100% Chardonnay. This almost seems like it came from Burgundy with its minerality and freshness, rich yet also elegant. The color is a golden-yellow, not too bright, while the aroma has scents that are sweet and rotund but also floral and fruity. The slight vanilla hint from the wood is an extra that is not unwelcomed and makes everything charming, although it is sure to disappear with age as the older vintages have shown. The flavor is broad with a caressing, Mediterranean richness.
PS: the label is one of the most vintage around.
