Asti 2013

This is an unusual Asti spumante. Its effervescence is achieved using the Charmat Method and the wine’s color is a clear yellow, while the aromas include yeast and aromatic fragrances with sensations of sage and citron. The mouthfeel is sweet yet very taut with a nice balance between the sugar residue and the acidity. The finish is actually quite line.
Serve at around 8°C and pair with apple fritters or, if you want to be provocative, crudités and oysters.
