This 2006 is an excellent version of their flagship wine. The color is extremely deep and concentrated with no concessions on the edge of the glass. The aroma is still young but broad and complex with distinctive scents of medicinal herbs and a lovely marine streak along with the classic bouquet of dark fruits. The flavor has nice structure with tannins that are still youthful and slightly vivacious. The excellent finish is very persistent.
