The wine is made Oristano Vernaccia grapes and ages for decades in fine wood kegs. Since it is made using the Solera method the wine does not have a declared vintage (1996). It has an amber color and an aroma of dried fruit, almonds, iodine with balsamic whiffs and those of dried apricot. The mouthfeel is sweet but not nauseating with a significant and cleansing acidity, while the finish is very long.
