    An emotional experience. The color has distinct orange reflections even if the overall spectrum is that of a Nebbiolo. More than the color what is surprising are all the other sensations, both the aromas and the flavors. With time the bouquet seems to have gone in another direction with an explosion of mineral and balsamic notes, lava and spice, all with the intensity of a Pinot Noir. The mouthfeel is stinging, never tame, stimulating and very complex. Drinking an old Quintarelli is an experience a great wine lover should never deny themselves.
