It intimidates at first glance with its ancient label, always printed in amanuensis graphics and in suggestive colors. The color is a decadent garnet, with orange nuances. The aroma begins very delicately, dried leaves and black cherry jam. It then continues to evolve bring out balsamic scents, licorice and carob. The taste is austere, without any concessions, with thick and composed tannins that have set the standard. Its length leaves one speechless, as does the way it has changed for the whole time (too short) it was in the glass... and to think this was not one of its 'historic' vintages.
