Acciaiolo 2009

Made from Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. A preview tasting. Very convincing and very young, thus with time its rating is sure to climb. A nice bright and intense ruby color. The nose is fruity, with scents of small fruits, black cherry and spicy traces of cardamom. A full-bodied taste, taut, pleasurable, despite tannins that are still flourishing. The use of wood is masterful and is apparent only in the background, something remarkable for such a young wine. The finish is long and elegant.
