Acciaiolo 2005

Made from Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. A garnet, ruby color and complex bouquet, smoky, with fruit on a secondary level and floral and mineral scents, tar and violet, with some hints of blueberry in the background. The taste is strong, a nice acidity, but it is clear that a cool season together with the fact that the grapes were grown almost 500 meters above sea level made the wine a little prickly, while the finish was subtle.
