Abate Nero Extra Brut (Dosaggio zero)

This small Trento winery has almost 40 years of experience producing sparkling wine. While the dosage has changed, the name on the bottle has not and it is a wine made from only Chardonnay grapes that have spent 25 months on the lees. It has a fresh and citrusy aromatic profile with notes of lime and raw almonds. The mouthfeel is lively, the bubbles are quite reserved, effervescent without being pretentious, while the delicate finish has a sensation of peach.
