    Franz Gojer has always been one of the greatest makers of Santa Maddalena. His seven-hectare vineyard, all located in the 'classico' zone, produces some 45,000 bottles a year. His wines are unmistakeable, unique and never disappoint. This 2011has strong spicy scents but also graphite and blueberry. The taste is still austere, earthy, but the fruit and spices build and expand as it breathes in the glass. This is a balanced wine, tasty and sure to improve with age.
