The red color is still iridescent with pale brick nuances that indicate the incredibly long life span of this Grand Cru. The bouquet is decidedly fruity with no scents from bottle aging but with an evident balsamic note of black cherry that is still bold. The extreme aromatic richness is clearly the trademark of the maison’s style. The tannins are nicely settled, dense yet rounded, creating a silky mouthfeel, caressing yet pronounced with an exceptional persistence.
