Made from Sangiovese organically grown in vineyard N°7 at the Tenuta di Montebello farm. The wine matures for 12 months in tonneau barrels, six of which resting on the lees, and then another six in stainless steel before aging in the bottle for six months. The wine has a lovely ruby color with garnet reflections and a bouquet with the right intensity that has notes of cherry and black cherry preserved in alcohol as well as those of spice and licorice. The bold mouthfeel is balanced with a lovely acidity, precise tannins and a saline finish.
