Kurni 2002

I chose this vintage because it is the most ‘lithe’ in Kurni’s history, together with 1998, and yet it has an impressive density, beginning with its deep black color. The aromas in the bouquet are at first slightly compressed but then expand like a peacock’s tails with scents of ripe cherry, dried Noberasco prune and sweet licorice. The mouthfeel is quite sweet, rotund, bold and wrapping. A true wonder with its virile and yearning flavor.
