    A dark, garnet color with an orange edge and aromas that are slightly wild but evolve into notes of iron, dried flowers, horseradish, mint and orange peel. The mouthfeel is fruity and has a commendable freshness even if the tannins are a tad too drying for a 20-year-old wine. The finish is saline with notes of cinchona, leather, citrus and almond paste.
