    The weather this year was more ‘southern’ with harvest starting October 5, similar to 1997. This has a bright and intense garnet color and the bouquet is very fruity with clear scents of raspberry, black cherry, also in alcohol, red prunes and a jammy note from raisinated grapes. The mouthfeel has a lot of body and is warm, rich and bold with tannins held in check by the alcohol/sugar component, a good acidity and a very persistent finish.
