A growing season of alternating rainy and sunny days until conditions improved in late September which allowed for near-perfect conditions to raisinate the grapes and this saved the vintage. The color is a bright garnet with an antique pink edge. The aroma here is a little fruitier and simpler than the other versions but is still immediate and enjoyable with notes of raspberry and yellow peach while those of alcohol are more like those of a wine than a ‘passito’. The mouthfeel is warm and balanced with just hints of tannins and a nice acidity making it almost easy to drink.
