Could it be that Filippo used a cherry extract? Joking aside, in this vintage the cherry element is out of proportion. This would be a defect were it not accompanied by an alcoholic content so high and evident to tickle your nose and a softness apparently out of control. Still it is a lesser interpretation. I would like to taste it again, I remember it being better, much better.
