This was also the first vintage for '17' and set the stage for what to expect in the following years. The aroma is particularly spicy and fresh, strangely the taste does not go in the same direction and I found it a bit heavy, not very dynamic, difficult to drink. Still it's a nice wine, one that has held up and will continue to do so for some time, without a doubt a reassuring debut.
