Operating in the Lazio region since 1600, the noble Pallavicini family has 80 hectares of vineyards of which 65 are in the Colonna estate, southeast of Rome in the Castelli Romani, and 15 in Cerveteri north of Rome. Today Maria Camilla Pallavicini is in charge of production. This wine is a blend of 60% Malvasia Puntinata and 40% Sémillon which ages sur lie in large wooden barrels for six months. It has an almost golden color and a sweet bouquet of fruit, plumb and yellow peach, herbal notes of sage and cucumber, tangerine blossoms and cyclamens. The flavor is citrusy, dry and saline.
