We kick off with an atomic bomb. This is perhaps one of this wine's best vintages, one which with a few more years in the bottle may even surpass the extraordinary 2006 (a memorable year for all the  DOCs). The color is very dark, with bright purple reflections. The aroma is an authentic explosion of black cherry, dried spices and mentholated notes.
