This is as good as it gets with Primitivo di Gioia del Colle. A phantasmagorical vintage for a wine that is so impressive for its taste-aroma boldness, extreme elegance and infinite persistence. It is no easy thing to hold so well together so many powerful components. With this 2006 Filippo did it with flying colors. In my opinion, this is a wine of which legends are made.
